Hi, Alister here again. It's been a while since this blog was updated, sorry for that. Stephanie and I have started a new forum for family members to all chat with each other. I thank those of the family who've joined up! :)
We wanted to give it a go anyway, so we'll see what becomes of it.
You can get to it from alistercurnow.com
Otherwise, we've been busy down here (I think Steph and I are the most southern members of our families now in the whole wide world! (not counting Jake though of course))
It's a busy time of year.
We went out a couple of nights ago (sunday 10th) to a stage show that included dinner. Four actors and a pianist. Sing-a-long sort of thing. It was not bad, a bit racy in places, but a laugh all the same. It was nice to get dressed up and go out, and nice to meet some more of Steph's workmates.
Unfortunately, I have the hardest time hearing people in crowded loud places. I always seem to have had this problem. Not such a loss of hearing concern, as it's always been like this? But it's very hard to feel involved in a conversation when you have to keep saying "WHAT?". I couldn't even hear Steph talking next to me, let alone someone across the table.
Still, it was a very nice evening out, and I did enjoy it. The food was great, I even had the vegetarian quiche!
Love
Alister (and Stephanie)
