Engagement

Seems a bit late, since we're already married... But I was recently emailed a couple pictures of us taken at our engagement party on the 26th of August.
They were photos taken by a couple workmates who wanted me to look silly...an I think they were successful. Anyway, here they are. :)

Alister's first instructor session at Flight Experience

Thursday night was my first night in the instructor seat at Flight Experience here in Christchurch.

It went really really well though I was incredibly nervous prior to starting! There are still a few things I need to remember, but my customers couldn't believe it was my first time instructing. I didn't tell them until the end ;)

My customer had never flown before, but did an exceptionally good job. We had a few laughs, and he got to fly an airliner for the first time.

Stephanie came down to see me off before my customers arrived, and thankfully brought the camera with her! Thanks babe.

These are shot doing another practice run of the Christchurch to Queenstown route in the time I had available to me before the customers arrived. I sit on the right, as the "Captain" or student sits on the left. In these photos, my instructor Matt is sitting in the Captain seat as I ran through my lesson with him as the student.



As you can imagine, it's a lot of fun!
